Device Link never connects to setup page

If you are on the Wifi Setup Page and your Mileage Ace Device Link application is open (green window) and the setup page is still asking you to Launch or Install, something isn’t working right.  This help article will help you solve this problem.

Has it worked before?

If the setup page has worked for you before, usually this is the problem:

Your hosts file has been changed

Anti-virus software will sometimes modify the hosts file, which can affect the connectivity of our setup page.  Don’t worry, it’s an easy fix.

It’s never worked

If you’ve never been able to get the Wifi Setup page to work on your computer, it’s possible the installation was unable to update your computer’s hosts file.

Still Not Working?

99% of the time, the above steps will solve any problem with the setup page asking to Launch or Install even when your Mileage Ace Device Link application is open.
