Here are some questions we frequently get.

What is the 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee?

You have 30 days from your purchase to return your order for a full refund, no questions asked. If you have used the tracking service we will deduct one month of service fees from the refund total.  We try to be flexible on this, so if you are a few days over that’s usually not a problem – we want you to be happy with your choice of mileage tracker.

If you have a Mileage Ace Pro that has been activated, we cannot refund the first month of cellular data fees because once the line has been activated the carrier will bill us for the first month.

If you are looking to purchase more than 5 units, we ask that you try one or two first so that you are sure they are right for you.

What is the Service Contract?

We do not have a required service contract.  You simply pay for the service you would like to use and can cancel so no further payments are made after your paid-for period has ended.

Remember, we warranty the device for any issues so just let us know if things aren’t working and we’ll take care of it asap!

What is the Lifetime Warranty?

It’s just what it sounds like.  If you are tracking your driving with a Mileage Ace, then we are going to warranty that mileage tracker for you.  It’s as simple as that!

The only case in which we do not warranty a device is if it has been damaged somehow.  This is quite rare and we will always take a look at the device and try to repair it first.

Is the Mileage Ace really made in the USA?

Yes. We proudly keep everything we possibly can in the USA.

Do I need wifi in my car?

Not at all! The Mileage Ace will connect to your home or office network when you park your car. You can also use WiFi hotspots on your phone or tablets if you are traveling or if you park too far away from your home or office network to get a signal.

Do I need a Corporate Account?

It ultimately depends on who you are tracking.  In general, if you are tracking employees then a Corporate Account will be best because it keeps all personal driving hidden from the company.

Does the Mileage Ace work in Canada?

Absolutely!  Approximately 15% of our customers are Canadian!

Can I track in kilometers instead of miles?

Yes.  Your account can be switched back and forth between miles and kilometers with a simple click of a button.

Can I use a tablet or phone to access my log?

The Mileage Ace is 99.9% web-based, so you can access your mileage logs anywhere a device can access the internet. It’s totally platform independent.

We currently have apps in development for phones and tablets which will allow you to manage your mileage log while you are on the go.

The only time you need a computer (either PC and Mac) is for the inital setup to tell the device which WiFi networks to use.

Can I upload trips using a hotspot?

Absolutely!  Mileage Ace works with any 2.4GHz network that has WPA security or higher.

The mileage tracker uses very little data during transmission, so don’t worry about it using up your data plan (30 hours of actual driving time only takes about one megabyte).

Does the mileage tracker have to upload every day?

Not at all.  The mileage tracker can store at least 50 hours of actual drive time before it will run out of memory.  For most people, that’s at least a month of driving.

If you upload once every week or two, that should be fine (we do recommend uploading more frequently just to be safe).

Remember the Mileage Ace will automatically upload over wifi when you park. For most of our customers this happens every time you get at home, to the office, or anywhere else you’ve added a network.

Which countries does Mileage Ace work in?

The GPS mileage tracker will work virtually anywhere in the world.  Our system can also map those GPS logs to the correct addresses virtually everywhere.

The only real limit is where we currently sell and ship devices to.  At this time, you can purchase from and we ship our mileage trackers to the following countries:

How long do you store my trip information?

Is forever long enough?

Seriously – we don’t delete anything.  Ever.

Is my trip data safe from a hard drive or system failure?

We use the same cloud server system that the FBI uses.  Your mileage logs are redundantly backed up in several locations around the US, so a failure at one location will not result in any loss of data.

We have never had a single instance of mileage log data being lost.

Does my computer have to be on all the time?

After the initial setup, The Mileage Ace doesn’t need your computer at all. It uploads the GPS tracked logs directly to our internet servers straight from your car using WiFi. Pretty awesome, right?

Why doesn't buy page load?

Internet Explorer version 10 or lower no longer has the ability to support minimum PCI compliance security. Please use a newer version of Internet Explorer or try a different web browser.

If you arrive at the login or purchase page only to get a blank page, it’s probably because your browser can’t support our ssl encryption security. It’s time to update your web browser!
